TomoClub is an educational gaming club for kids (8 to 14 year olds) to foster life skills via social games that children play together in cohorts.
Our mission is to foster the emotional, behavioral and cognitive abilities of today’s children, so that they grow to become better problem solvers, leaders, and innovators.
The program has been designed by a team of game designers and developers, educators and psychologists to make the experience engaging and focused on deriving learning outcomes for children. Each session is designed with the intent to provide children with the appropriate skills to overcome challenges in their everyday life and to prepare them for their tomorrow!
The focus of the program lies on the abilities of emotional intelligence, leadership and innovation, through communication and collaboration. The abilities are further broken down into skills which children learn about through the sessions.

We place children into cohorts based on their grade brackets. We currently serve grades 3-10. There are 3 grade brackets, grades 3-5, 6-7 and 8-10.

Schools and districts choose the working model they want to adopt based on their needs. We provide demo sessions for children and educators, free of cost
There are two working models.

  1. The schools and districts adopt it as an extracurricular class or an after school program, which would be in the online setting and will include trained moderators who will lead the sessions in the presence of the designated teacher. A progress report will be generated after each session for each student and shared with the teachers, which is also shareable with the parents for parental engagement.
  2. The schools and districts integrate the program into their core curriculum. Teachers will undergo training for the games, the program guide and the assessment. A progress report will be generated after each session for each student and shared with the teachers, which is also shareable with the parents for parental engagement.

The models are flexible according to the needs of the schools.

Cohorts are formed based on the grade brackets and their level of competencies, to make the sessions relevant for each group. The session guides vary in terms of rigor for students based on the grade brackets.

The program progression is for one year, which includes 4 sessions per month. The schools can choose the number of sessions/months they want to purchase.

Schools get access to grade appropriate session guides, games, assessments, session based training modules, progress reports and technical and logistical support.

Each child will need a device with internet access. The device can be an iPad, tab or a desktop.

All moderators have a background in education. We provide an in depth training programme and are required to undergo a background check to ensure the safety of each child.

We provide on-demand training.  The training module has engaging 10-20 minutes long instructional videos along with all the resources required for the program.
